Welcome to Shalom Bible Quiz. By downloading, accessing, or using our mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. You must be 13 or older (or the higher minimum age where you live, e.g. 16 in some EU states), or have parental consent — see Privacy Policy §7.
By using Shalom Bible Quiz, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on your own devices. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. XP, levels, badges, and streaks are virtual progress markers with no monetary value.
Shalom Bible Quiz is a Bible knowledge quiz application that offers multiple game modes including Standard mode, Multiple Choice mode, Live Multiplayer mode, Scheduled Live Multiplayer mode, and AI-powered Infinite mode, as well as no-account Quick Play and Open Play sessions. Users can play individually or in teams, participate in church and family leaderboards, and track their progress through XP and level systems. The app is free to play. No ads. No in-app purchases.
You may be required to register an account to access certain features. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any passcodes or credentials associated with your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
You agree to use the app only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:
The Shalom Bible Quiz app, including its code, design, graphics, and organization, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Bible verse content is used for educational and ministry purposes: the bundled offline text is the public-domain World English Bible (WEB); upgraded Verse-of-the-Day text is the NIV © Biblica via api.bible (all rights reserved to its owner). Study summaries are original overviews. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of the app without our express permission.
The app relies on third-party services including Google Firebase Realtime Database, Google Apps Script, ipapi.co (for optional country pre-fill during registration), and translate.googleapis.com (for on-demand translation of quiz questions and UI text when a non-English language is selected). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, reliability, or security of these third-party services.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses or other harmful components. Bible question content is provided for educational purposes and may not be theologically exhaustive. AI-generated Infinite-mode questions and verse-grounded devotional reflections may contain errors — always verify with Scripture.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shalom Bible Quiz and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of data, quiz progress, or leaderboard standings.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the app at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, third parties, or the app itself. You may discontinue use at any time by uninstalling the app.
These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of your place of residence where mandatory consumer protections apply; otherwise by general principles of contract law. No single country's courts have exclusive jurisdiction, and nothing in these Terms limits your mandatory local consumer rights.
